New film shows autistic officers at work and talking about their policing careers
The National Police Autism Association and other police support networks were recently invited to work with the Police Uplift Programme to produce a series of videos for the joiningthepolice.co.uk recruitment website. We are delighted to announce that our film, showing two autistic officers at work and at home, has been released.
The video marks the first time that autism and neurodiversity have been featured prominently in a national police recruitment campaign.
We would like to extend our thanks to the Police Uplift communications team for their work in producing the film, and to our colleagues PC Marcus Zost and Sergeant Suzanne Burke for kindly sharing their stories.
More information on police careers can be found on our recruitment page and on the NPAA page on the Joining The Police website. ∎
